This version introduces one new feature: An updated Excel sheets to easily do regression and plot residuals. It can be a tool for both mathematics and science subjects to make graphing in Excel easier and better looking.
You open the Excel sheet from the regressions menu or the Graph menu.
- Enter up to 3 datasets which shows up as points in different colors
- Perform 'on the fly' regression, quickly testing the match of different regression types
- Residual plot to better analyze the regression fit
- Manually enter any function (here the black dashed linje 2x+3)
You can enter a function using constants which then can be manipulated in the constants column for a precise fit. - Highlight any point (the red dashed line)
I love you guys, I really, really do
I think that there is a bug when somebody works with two or more screens at the same time. If WordMat generates a pop-up window, the main screen of Word fades a bit, but the new (and active) window doesn't appear. Therefore, you cannot continue working. This doesn't happen if I work with only one screen. Then the pop-up window appears.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for the work you do! You are fantastic. Can I ask you a question? I would like to change the automatic number of the equations by linking it to the paragraph number. I tried to change the settings on wordmat by entering the numbering 1.1 but to link it to the paragraph number I have to manually edit the field manually. Is it possible make it automatic?
ReplyDeleteTry using 'insert equation section no' under Insert equation to change the first number. After this section number, the equation numbering will be 2.1. By inserting another it forwards to 3.1 etc. You can hide the section number if you don't want it visible.
DeleteHi
ReplyDeleteI Have a fresh install of wordmath 1.12 on office 2007, but it keeps throwing this error "Compile error in hidden module", I have tried every solution i can find
1. reinstall of office and complete update
2. reinstall wordmath
3. the autostart folders (C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Word\START
and

DeleteIT doesn't work, because that version of wordmat doesn't work on office 2007, the latest version you can use is (based on what you said) wordmat 1.10
DeleteHej,
Thanks a lot for this add on! I do have a question, however.
ReplyDeleteCould you tell me the variable name for "Insert numbered equation for Reference" so that I may add my own short cut to it? I can't find it in the list of variable names.
It would extremely useful if you added a short cut to it by default in future versions.
Hey, thank you for your nice job!
ReplyDeleteBut I meet a problem. I use o365 and always keep updating to the newest stable version. And now, I can't install wordmat 1.12 on Mac, it just say installation failed. The version of word is 16.11(180311). And in the windows, when I open a word, it shows "Compile error in hidden module". So what can I do now?

ReplyDeleteI can't install an add-in. I get the error, "Word 2016 is not installed" which is odd because I do have it installed. Maybe the problem is that I'm using Windows 10 and the folder where the executable program is here: "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.Office.Desktop.Word_\Office16".
ReplyDeletePlease help or advise.
I have same problem the error is "Excel 2007,2010,2013 or 2016" is not installed"
DeleteWhether it is about Microsoft Office or Office 365, both are widely used in homes and offices. Users can definitely face complications with its components like Word, Excel or PowerPoint. You can connect with software experts on Microsoft Help Number UK and consult with them to resolve any issue with any Office component.
ReplyDeleteI have a major problem. My wordmat would not start when I pressed alt+m nothing worked, and I can't seem to find it anywhere on word, and it all started after I Installed this new update...?
